How much sod do I need to order?
Measure the length and width of your area in feet and multiply them to get the total square footage. We recommend adding 5–10% extra to account for curves and cutting around edges.
How do I order?
Give us a call at 517-851-7373 and we will add you to the harvest schedule. Depending on your order size, we may be able to get you in tomorrow! Whether you are picking up or ordering delivery, call ahead!
How early do I need to order?
It depends on the size of your order and whether you need delivery. In general, we recommend ordering 48–72 hours in advance. Our delivery schedule tends to fill up quickly- especially during the peak spring and fall seasons.
How soon should I install the sod once it's been delivered? Can I do it myself?
You can install it yourself- green side up! Sod is a living plant and should be installed the same day it’s delivered. We harvest fresh to order, so getting it off the pallet and onto the soil within a few hours ensures it stays healthy and takes root successfully.
