How much sod do I need to order?
Measure the length and width of your area in feet and multiply them to get the total square footage. We recommend adding 5–10% extra to account for curves and cutting around edges.
How do I order?
Give us a call or send a text to 517-851-7373. Once we confirm your square footage, delivery or pick-up, and the day/time, we will add you to the harvest schedule. Whether you are picking up or ordering delivery, call ahead!
How early do I need to order?
Picking up? Just give us a call the day before you need it and we will cut it fresh the following morning. For deliveries, we recommend ordering at least few days in advance because our delivery schedule tends to fill up quickly- especially during the peak spring and fall seasons.
How do I prepare for & install sod?
You can install it yourself- green side up! Sod is a living plant and should be installed the same day it’s delivered. Follow these steps for best results:

Clear the area of weeds & debris. Grade the soil ~1inch below driveways, pavers, or edges. Add topsoil if your soil needs a boost.

Stagger! Lay the rolls in a brick-like pattern rather than straight lines.

Lay the pieces horizontally across any inclines.
