How much sod do I need to order?
Measure the length and width of your area in feet and multiply them to get the total square footage. We recommend adding 5–10% extra to account for curves and cutting around edges.
Do I need to order in square feet or square yards?
Square Feet / 9 = Square Yards. But- if the conversion feels like a headache, we’ve got the math covered and will provide your quote over phone or email. Just give us your dimensions and we’ll make sure you get the right amount of sod for your project!
How early do I need to order?
It depends on the size of your order and whether you need delivery. In general, we recommend ordering 48–72 hours in advance. Our delivery schedule tends to fill up quickly- especially during the peak spring and fall seasons.
How soon should I install the sod once it's been delivered? Can I do it myself?
You can install it yourself- green side up! Sod is a living plant and should be installed the same day it’s delivered. We harvest fresh to order, so getting it off the pallet and onto the soil within a few hours ensures it stays healthy and takes root successfully.
